1. Not feeling guilty whatsoever about the 3 hour nap you took while avoiding all responsibilities.

2. Looking in the mirror and realizing how much weight you've gained and how you peaked in high school.

3. Having your friends tell you the morning after a crazy night out about all the embarrassing and terrifying things that you did.

4. Looking across the bar and seeing your friend kissing a stranger she met 5 minutes ago.

5. Looking at your syllabus and wondering how you will ever keep up with your studies while keeping up with your very important social life.

6. Calling your parents 27 times, having a mental breakdown over school and life, and feeling homesick for a hot second.

7. Looking across the bar and seeing the guy you once you thought you had a future with, along with his new girl.

8. Skipping your 8 a.m. class to sleep in because a good night of sleep is critical for your health (and God forbid you get sick and miss out on drinking!)

9. Thinking that you are the best dancer in the room after a few drinks.

10. Having a moment with one of your best friends where you eat everything in sight and talk about all your emotions.

11. When you start acting petty over nothing but then realize that there are bigger issues in the world.

12. Looking and acting like a complete and total psychopath while trying to flirt with the love of your life.

13. Being annoyed with everything and anyone that comes your way while you're stressed out.

14. Hitting your breaking point of eating sub-par, unhealthy food and just wanting some expensive sushi and a home cooked meal.

15. Not feeling any remorse after making horrible decisions and realizing that you're a walking sh*t show.

Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
