Sunday: a day to relax, unwind, and do all of the work that you've been putting off for as long as possible. Even though all of us wake up Sunday morning with the best intentions to get things done, most of the time it doesn't work out that way. I had a severe case of the Sunday Night Blues this week, and I think the most accurate way to show you how I felt is the The Office gifs.
1. When you wake up on Sunday morning after having a pretty good weekend
2. Then you realize how much work you actually have to do today
3. When, after avoiding your homework for as long as possible, you realize you actually need to get something done
4. After you've gotten one of the 26 things done that you need to do today
5. Then, your friend texts you, so you take a "well-deserved" study break
6. When you've put off your work for hours and finally decide it's time to get going again
7. But then you suddenly lose all motivation to do anything
8. So you start doing anything and everything except what you're supposed to be doing
9. When someone asks you what exams you have this week
10. So then you start thinking about everything you should be doing...
11. But you soon realize that you don't really care that much
12. When that little voice in the back of your head tells you that you really should be doing something productive
13. But you think you already know what you're doing, so you don't worry about it and go back to catching up on The Bachelor
14. Then you think about it a little harder and realize you actually have no idea what you're talking about
15. But, by then, it's already almost Monday morning and you have nothing accomplished
To next Sunday: I hope you go better than this Sunday, but I fully expect you to be just as unproductive. You always leave me asking myself,
but I seriously doubt that I will ever change, no matter how hard I try to. Here's to everyone who's ever had the Sunday Night Blues...procrastinate on.
