15 Times Grey's Anatomy Broke Our Hearts

And that's just in season two.

15 Times Grey's Anatomy Broke Our Hearts

I’ve been re-watching "Grey’s Anatomy." It’s winter break, I’m not working, and I’m bored. There’s nothing to do but binge watch "Grey’s."

I’m starting to realize just how many times Shonda Rhimes breaks our hearts. Here’s a list, but only from season two.

1. When Burke climbed into that hospital bed

They are perfect. End of story.

2. When Addison showed up

This one is cheating because it was actually in season one, but remember that time Derek had a wife?

3. When Meredith told Derek to stop talking to her cause Addison wasn't easy to hate

In the grand scheme of things, this one isn’t actually that heartbreaking, but there were definitely some feels going on there.

4. That time Meredith told Derek to pick her

You know the moments in a show, the ones that just stick with you after watching it? Yeah, this is one of them.

5. When that girl bleeds out and Meredith can't deal

You know the one. The girl with the pole through her body; they took her off the pole, and couldn’t save her, right after Derek picked Addison. Her cries to help the girl were heart-wrenching.

6. When Izzie had a kid

Well, wasn’t that just a huge curve ball?

7. When Meredith told Derek she didn’t want to die alone

Every. One. Of. The. Feels.

8. When Meredith thought she was about to die

When Meredith was holding that bomb. Now that was heartbreaking.

9. When the bomb blew up

Meredith may have hated that guy, but as she watched him walk out with that bomb, we could all feel her heart breaking as he blew up with it.

10. When Derek realizes Meredith isn't there after the bomb incident

He asked Webber where she was. He just got the wrong "she."

11. When Derek remembers their last kiss

Her hair smelled of lavender.

12. When Meredith told Derek he didn’t get to call her a whore

I think I may have shed a tear when I watched that one. And I’m sure I’ll do it every single time.

13. When Denny wants to leave the hospital

I’ve never really been a fan of Izzie, and quite frankly, I’m not a huge fan of Denny and Izzie together either. However, I did get a little emotional when all he wanted to do was leave the hospital and the LVAD wire wouldn’t allow him to do so.

14. When Izzie cut the LVAD Wire

After all, it was only 17 seconds.

15. When Alex held Izzy in that chair after Denny died.

Enough said.

There are so many more, but this list would go on for days if they were all included.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
