We love her, we hate her, we want to be her- Cristina Yang is our one and only. As much as she may be out of our league in the operating room, she's right on our level in life and in all those situations that every college is bound to encounter.

1. Like every time your professor makes a joke during the lecture.

3. When you pass that midterm that all of your friends fail.

4. When your friends invite you to hang out, ever.

\

5. When your need for perfection outweighs everything.

6. Or when your professor pulls your aside to tell you you're failing their class.

7. When you look around and wonder why you chose this school.

8. Or when you can't find your homework answers online and have to actually do the work.

9. When you need your friend to cover for you when you skip out on the group project meeting.

10. When you need to give yourself a pep talk before going to that party on campus.

11. Or when you actually do your homework and expect your professor to acknowledge this stage of your maturing process.

12. When your friends became the most important part of your college experience.

13. When finals are over and your friends say that their's were "fine."

14. When moving into your dorm becomes a chaotic and stressful process.

15. And finally, when you need to be reminded that you actually can graduate from college.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
