This past Wednesday, Big Brother fans all over the country got hyped for one of the best nights of the year: the finale.

If you're like me, you were jumping up and down with joy after Nicole's final key got called. If you were rooting for Paul, you're probably still happy Victor got America's Favorite Houseguest. Or, if you're like the friends who had to listen to me talk about since school started and were in the room during the finale, you probably had no idea what was going on, what it meant to "play Big Brother right" and why the guy with the beard kept saying friendship. No matter how you feel about the victory, all of us BB fans are now stuck with the torturing task of waiting another whole year until we can back into the house.

To give you a quick cure to your post-BB blues, here's 15 gifs to remember what a great summer it was on season 18.

1. When Davonne's sassiness was at the top of its game:

Mama Da' came back and certainly wasn't here for #friendship

2. Knowing Jozea NEEDED to go as soon as possible

The only messiah he was for how NOT to play the game.

3. Hoping Glenn would be someone you could love as much as Donny or Johnny Mac

But he didn't even last more than a day. Oh well, at least it meant Corey was safe...

4. And from the moment we met Corey, we knew he wouldn't just be a pretty face...

But one actually one of the most entertaining Houseguests in a few seasons.

5. Nicole embodying all of us whenever someone made a stupid move or deal

*Cough everything Bridgette and Bronte did cough*

6. Paul's reactions to anyone annoying opening their mouth

Annoying: See aforementioned names above

7. Appreciating Natalie's honesty about herself

Paulie would say its her "Venezuelan booty" (Still not Cody)

8. MAMA DA' BEING THE QUEEN OF THROWING SHADE

Seriously though, look at that hair flip!

9. Paul and Victor being the only honest Big Brother HouseGuests ever

They were so honest that they would jump from side to side if they needed to. Sort of floaters, good thing Paul had the Pablo as a life vest.

10. Frank showing once again why he is the master manipulator

Playing Bridgette like Mozart on the piano. This guy is a beast! Too bad he got himself in some trouble. Also, Bridgette how are you a neo-feminist if you literally CLUNG onto Frank until the end. #cabbagepatchkid

11. James reminding us why we always love him even if he's caught up in a showmance

Just Captain Commando cuddling an owl. And we all wish we were that owl.

12. Corey every time he tried to be serious and not funny

He came here to play Big Brother, not Big Baby. Mama didn't raise no bitch!

13. Paul and Victor feeling the sting of playing both sides of the house

And again are honest about their feelings towards it.

14. Paul's eternal lesson, teaching about the important of #friendship

It was annoying at first, but honestly it started catching on later.

15. And finally, Nicole being all of us when it comes to the best reality show and way of lifestyle out there

Summer 2017 can't come faster!!!

We don't buy into these... just like how we don't buy our friends.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
