15 Times Adele's 'Hello' Understood You

Once again, Adele has uncovered new ways to turn our hearts upside down and make us sob uncontrollably. Her newest single, "Hello," was released on Oct. 23, and it's already making us miss the ex we might have never had. Honestly, there's no possible way anyone can "Adele and chill" after she leaves us in a soulful pile of mush. Here are 15 different times the song knew your soul and made you want to belt out your entire life story.

1. She greets you from a much too long musical hiatus in just the simplest, but most understanding and caring of ways.

She's baaaaack.

2. Her amazing vocal capabilities have once again found a way to comprehend and justify your crazy impulse to call your ex over and over and over.

And she uses a flip phone, which everyone has had at some point in time. #amiright

3. She can innately feel your unrelenting need for closure in a past relationship.

It's been years. I was wondering if you wanna meet up. Also, can we go over, ya know, EVERYTHING?

4. She knows that the cliché, "time heals all wounds," is bulls**t.

Explain all that time you were not healing my soul with your singing, Adele. I'll wait...

5. Her lyrical imagery sets the scene to reflect on a better time in your life or past relationship.

I'm in California dreamin' whaddup.

6. Though a relationship you've had might have been great at one time, she knows that person ultimately doesn't deserve your heart.

If it clearly doesn't tear you apart, I'm out.

7. You feel like you can literally embody a queen after singing her empowering chorus.

YAS SINGING QUEEN.

8. She forgives your every wrongdoing and puts your worries at ease by apologizing to her former lover and painfully serenading her feelings.

I'm sorry for everything that I've done, except setting "fire to the rain (aka burning down your house)." #sorrynotsorry

9. But though she's genuinely apologetic, you can't help but love her also calling her ex out for not caring about her apology. It's everything you'd dreamed it would be.

BAM! Feelings. Gotcha, ex-lover.

10. Her somber mood comforts and resonates with you in a way you never deemed possible.

Rolling in the deep again and again.

11. Yet, she has a way of showing you the power of moving on with your life and being fierce, even if an apology is unaccepted.

Keep on keeping on, you sexy thang.

12. Plus, she defines your #EyebrowGoals.

And that cat eye, tho.

13. And #HairGoals.

Don't even get me started.

14. Did I mention she's a British babe?

Ello, puppet.

15. The point is, she's our songstress of soul, bouquet of breathtaking and the master of our hearts. She also knows we're anticipating the arrival of her new album, "25" (coming out Nov. 20).

She's everything, really.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
