15 Thoughts I Had While Watching "Friends"
Mashable

A couple weeks ago, I finished the entire "Friends" series. I went on the whole journey with them from the opening scene in Central Perk to the dramatic zoom in on the door in the final scene. Throughout the 10 seasons, I shared with these goofballs, there were just some things I couldn't help but think about. Warning: spoilers ahead!!

1. How were they always free during the day time to hang out in Central Perk?

Don't they have jobs to be at during the day? I know in that one episode they talked about being there on their lunch breaks. Are lunch breaks really that long that you can make it to this coffee shop and spend time with your friends? How does everybody's lunch breaks line up with one another?

2. Why does Ross suck so much?

I mean, sure, Joey sleeps with women willy nilly and won't call them back, but he respects what they want and doesn't feel like they "owe" him anything. Ross is so entitled when it comes to women- I don't get it.

3. Speaking of that!

Why does Rachel have to worry about how Ross feels every time she wants to date a new guy? You've been broken up for 5 years- who cares what he thinks! You're allowed to date other people without his approval! Forget him!!

4. Wow, could I be any more like Chandler?

I find sarcastic comments to be a forte of mine.

5. Oh, but wait, now I really think I'm Phoebe.

We're both super loud and crazy and you never really know what's going to come out of my mouth (I don't even know myself sometimes, but that's beside the point).

6. No, wait Monica is me right there!

7. Alright, I'm basically just a really weird mixture of all them I can't pick just one character.

8. Why is Gunther invited to all of their parties? They're never friendly to him in the coffee shop?

9. How is that table always reserved for them? Do coffee shops take reservations often?

10. I hope one day my husband accepts all of my faults as lovingly as Chandler and Monica accept each others. They've embraced their quirks and it's made the love even stronger.

11. Watching Chandler dance is like watching me dance, and I'm not quite sure who I'm more embarrassed for really.

12. How is that apartment not covered in bird poop? Can chickens and ducks even be house trained?

13. How can Rachel give up that job in Paris for Ross? It's a fashion job! In Paris!!! But nope, you just have to go back with Ross!

14. ...Although, their reunion after she got off the plane did tug at my heartstrings. I'm a sucker for love what can I say?

15. Okay, this I'll remember to clap during the opening credits. Ugh, I missed it again. Oh well, guess I'll just have to watch another episode and get it right then!

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
