15 Thoughts Had While Trying To Pack For A Trip

I know for me a lot of things run through my mind when I am packing for vacation or a weekend trip, often times these things are very funny after sitting down and thinking about them later. I go from thinking about what to pack to how much to pack and so much more. I am hoping that many other people will have some of the same things that I do.

1. Am I packing enough?

2. How many outfits do I need if I am only staying 3 nights?

3. Should I pack two outfits for everyday to have one to wear and a backup or just one?

4. Did I get my makeup bag?

5. Did I make sure everything was in there?

6. Do I really need that many shoes?

7. How many bags am I allowed again?

8. Oh, wait if I am packing that shirt then I will need that other pair of boot.

9. Mom may have said to only bring two bags, but what that really means how many bags can I fit into that one bag.

10. Do I really need a nice outfit I can wear out for every night?

11. How many phone chargers should I bring? I need one for the car, one for the condo bedroom, one for the living room oh and one in case I loose one.

12. It's almost fall so do I need to bring jeans, shorts, capri's, or all three?

13. Oh crap, I forgot about having to bring my own toiletry bag and I already loaded everything into the car.

14. Should I bring allergy and headache medicine?

15. Man, I forgot about how long it takes to pack and why I should always start a day or two earlier than I do.

These are just a few of the thoughts I have when I am trying to pack for any sort of trip. I hope you all find most these funny and relatable.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
