15 Thoughts Every College Girl Has Before A Night Out

Going out with your friend's at college are some of the best memories you will ever have, but so much effort goes into these nights.

1. Do I even feel like going out tonight?

Every girl goes through the phase of debating whether or not she is going out. We want to pretend like we might stay in and do homework or something.

2. Who’s going?

The point of the night where you get mad at your friends for inviting people you hate, but alcohol will take care of that.

3. Should I drink?

Yes.

4. I have no money.

I might have to text my dad at 11 o'clock at night to transfer money into my account if I plan on doing anything tonight.

5. Wait, yes, I am definitely drinking tonight, I had a calc test this week.

If you are stressed, happy, sad, tired, angry, or just bored, alcohol will be there to solve the problem.

6. I am not going to get drunk.

What is the point of going out then, ya know?

7. Well, I’m not going to blackout.

Nobody is going to hold you to it, so do it up, girl.

8. What should I wear?

Searching for a decent outfit and now my entire closet is on my floor.

9. I have nothing to wear.

All I wear to class is leggings and sweatshirts, how do you expect me to pick out a "cute" outfit?

10. Are we pre-gaming?

The answer is always yes.

11. Duh.

12. What time is it?

We have been getting ready and pre-gaming for 3 hours, odds are we are late AF.

13. Finally, the Uber’s here.

Here we go now!

14. I should not have worn heels.

"And no, I will not wear high heels. Because heels are a male invention designed to make women's butts look smaller... and to make it harder for them to run away."

15. Oh well, I’ll just regret it tomorrow.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
