15 Things You Ask Your Parents At School

Back to school means back to living on your own. If you are anything like me than living on your own means calling or texting mom and dad ten times a day saying "SOS!" Granted, not every one of those SOS texts is a dire emergency, but it is something that gets their attention. Here are 15 things you ask your parents while living on your own.

1. "Will you put money in my account?"

2. "How do you do laundry?"

3. "The washer won't open or start, did I break it?"

4. "Will you call and make my doctors appointment?"

5. "I need to write about my opinion, I don't have one, what's yours?"

6. "How do I make the wifi faster?"

7. "How do I know if my pasta is done cooking?"

8. "Why were my meatballs crunchy?"

9. "Can I wash all my clothes together, like do I need to separate them?"

10. *Texts Dad "SOS" and then inserts any kind of computer problem*

11. "How do you run a dishwasher?"

12. "What should I change my major to?"

13. "Can you FaceTime me during dinner?"

14. "How do I put in a maintenance request?"

15. "Why didn't you answer my phone calls?"

Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
