First of all, let's all take a minute to thank our parents for blessing us with these wonderful people called siblings. They're great right? They're our best friends, our biggest annoyances, and we wouldn't know what to do without them. If you and your sibling(s) are close in age, you understand that us close siblings have our own brand of struggles.
1. The competition was so real. School, sports, driving, parental attention, toys, etc.
2. You always had to ride the same school bus, even if you were trying to be "cool" and pretend you didn't know them. But you stood up for them anyway.
3. But it was actually scary when one of you moved up a grade into a new school.
Wait, you mean I have to do this alone now?
4. You had ALL the same friends, and all of your mutual friends knew all of your personal business.
Just like the show.
5. You're totally over-protective when it comes to relationships.
6. Sometimes, you crushed on each other's friends, and it had the potential to be this embarrassing:
7. You get into fights over not answering the simplest of questions.
8. When you were little, you fought over which TV show to watch, because your mom made you take turns choosing.
9. When the older sibling started driving, the younger sibling was convinced they would do so much better. You probably both did about the same.
10. The two of you were always being compared by your teachers and classmates.
11. That one time you ended up in the same class you drove your teacher crazy. One day you were total partners in crime and the next you refused to speak.
12. You dread the day when one of you is ready to move out, because it means you'll actually have to decide which movies and books belong to whom. Nobody can remember who got what for their birthday, plus your family probably gave you shared Christmas gifts.
13. If one of you is a girl, and the other is a boy, people sometimes ask if you're dating. AWKWARD
14. The younger sibling really loves being the "big" sibling when they grow taller than the oldest.
15. You love each other unconditionally because your parents provided you with your very best friend, and at a convenient age.
