15 Things I Wish I Would Have Done This Summer

Every summer it is the same thing. I have all these awesome plans of things I wanna do with my friends and family, but inevitably I always end up doing nothing that I planned to do. Don't try to deny it. I know I'm not the only one who is not heard from for days at a time, because you decided to binge watch a TV show on Netflix. So here are 15 things I wished I would have done this summer, than becoming emotional abused by the show that is Grey's Anatomy.

1. Gone to Blue Bayou Water Park.

I've lived in Louisiana all my life and I've never been. Don't judge.

2. Made homemade lemonade.

Since Beyonce' dropped her latest power album, I've had a taste for some lemonade. So I probably should have tried my hand at making some homemade.

3. Went Bowling.

I haven't been bowling since my 8th birthday party, which didn't go to well...

4. Had a picnic with a friend.

Fresh air probably would have done be good this summer.

5.Went to a music festival.

Coachella has always been my dream and there's tons of music festivals during the summer. I probably should have went to one instead staying in bed.

6. Had a house party.

I only have like a few friends. So it probably would have ended up like the movie "Project X." But hey its about the memories. *cue House Party by Sam Hunt*

7. Built a sand castle on the beach.

Going to the beach in general sounds like a good idea, why not build a sand castle while there?

8. Went out of the country.

A broke college student can dream, Am I Right?

9. Learned a new language.

The time spent crying over Grey's could have been time spent learning Italian.

10. Went to New York

I've always wanted to visit New York during the summer. I mean its....

11. Be a tourist in New Orleans.

I can never get enough of this city. The culture, food, and the people make it seem like I haven't seen what all the city has to offer.

12. Made homemade pop sickles or ice cream.

I'm a lover of pop sickles and ice cream. I probably would have saved a lot money by making it than constantly going to the store.

13. Read the stack of books in my room.

Its been sitting there since senior year of high school. I could have knocked it out this summer. I mean there's always next year.

14. Ate at a new restaurant.

I eat at the same restaurants while at home. Trying something new never hurt anybody.

15. Made a new friend.

I don't have many friends when I come home from school. So making a new one wouldn't have been all that bad.

Next summer I am vowing a change. I shall accomplish new, exciting, fun things! I believe that Summer 2017 will be my summer, I will make a change. If things so happen to not work out (strongly believe they won't) Netflix will always be there to welcome me home.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
