The 15 Biggest Pop Culture Moments Of 2015

2015 was an eventful year. So many things happened in pop culture from music to movies and social media trends. Here's just a few:

1. "50 Shades of Grey" came out the day before Valentine's Day.

And a bunch of girls went to go see it.

2. Zayn Malik left One Direction.

And broke the hearts of many Directioners.

3. Bruce Jenner becomes Caitlyn Jenner.

4. Travis $cott got arrested for starting a riot at Lollapalooza.

5. Adele made a comeback with "Hello."

And won the hearts of everyone.

6. Justin Bieber released "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry" and his new album. Everyone became a Belieber again.

7. He also went blonde.

Still didn't keep anyone from becoming a Belieber again, though.

8. Lollapalooza decided to add an extra day onto their 2016 Lineup.

Probably the best decision ever, but now we have to wait for the lineup...

9. Frank Ocean still didn't drop his new album.

Not that "Channel Orange" isn't great and all, but c'mon Frank, we've been waiting.

10. Drake's "Hotline Bling" video came out.

The dance is much harder to imitate than it looks.

11. Donald Trump decided to run for president.

Still not sure if this was such a good idea, Donald. #you'refired.

12. Kendall Jenner got to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

AKA, every girls dream.

13. We can't about #thedress social media phenomenon.

You know, the one that stressed everyone out?

14. Essena O'Neill revealed the secrets of what it's like to be an Instagram model.

She reinforced that you only see what people want you to see on social media.

15. "The Hunger Games" trilogy (except movies) finally ended.

Looks like we'll have to find a new series to watch now..

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
