My friends are a crazy group of people. Like actually crazy. Which is maybe why we get along so well.Since 1998, women across the world have been comparing their group of friends to the women in Sex and the City. Between countless debates about which person in your group was which character, everything boiled down to the fact that they all loved each other unconditionally. Here are 15 things I never thanked my friends for, as told by Sex and the City:

15. Thank you for late night food runs and random unplanned movie/homework nights.

McDonald's at 3 am? Big homework assignment that I know I won't get done unless someone forces me? Thanks for being there for all the little emergencies.

14. Thank you for knowing exactly what I'm thinking just by reading my facial expressions.

"And I feel as if I can communicate with you with only a single look."

13. Thank you for always being down for a "tea party".

And thank you for never being short on tea to spill.

12. Thank you for always snapping me back to reality after failed flirting/dating attempts.

You always know when to remind me that I'm awesome and shouldn't let a man define me.

11. Thank you for letting me have my crazy (psycho) moments.

Sometimes I just need to go outside and scream at the universe, thank you for screaming right next to me.

10. Thank you for always letting me rant about stupid stuff.

Boys, schools, annoying people: thank you for always lending an ear.

9. Thank you for encouraging me in (almost) everything I do.

Thanks to you, my self-confidence sometimes goes through the roof when we're out in public. I always look forward to the little encouragements that you're never shy about.

8. Thank you for reminding me to stop trying to rush my life.

I'm always the first to admit that I want to "grow up" too quickly. Thank you for reminding me that I have time to figure it out.

7. Thank you for understanding that sometimes I need to be alone for 12 days straight.

As someone who deals with anxiety and depression, sometimes I just need to be alone for long periods of time. Thank you for letting me.

6. But also thank you for knowing when I need you.

I am forever thankful for friends who will answer an SOS without hesitation (most of the time). Sometimes you really just need people to be there, ya know?

5. Thank you for always having my back.

Whether it's a breakup or someone is just being rude, you always are there when I need you to do the talking for me.

4. Thank you for letting me be the Carrie...and thank you for telling me when I need to stop acting like the Carrie.

Thank you for letting me be crazy in the pursuit of guys and letting me write about our lives. Also thank you for telling me when I need to cut back on pursuing guys and writing about our lives. Hope I haven't embarrassed you too much!

3. Thank you for all the unsolicited advice that may or may not work.

It doesn't matter the topic. We could be talking boys or school and someone will say something that might have worked previously and should be put into practice again.

2. Thank you for never being short on laughter when I make dad jokes.

And I have a lot of those...

1. Thank you for going through life with me.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

5 Things To Do That Are Better Than Writing A Paper

Don't waste your time trying to write that paper when there are so many more interesting things you could be doing.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
