If you have ever had a long distance friend, there are some things only you two will understand. The college barrier separates you guys physically, but it will never break your friendship. The time away is hard, but it makes the time together so much more special; and when you can stick it out over 100's of miles, you know you will have a forever friend.

1. The long awaited reunion on breaks

2. Long/late night phone calls

3. The vent sessions after rough days

4. You know how to make each other feel better

5. Driving to see your friend the first day of break

6. The food comas you guys have when together

7. Catching up on all the gossip you guys miss

8. You get personal when your friend is hurt and you aren't there to help

9. You know how to deal with each other's crazy

10. You never fight, there is just no time


11. When everyone is out and you just sit alone wishing you had your best friend

12. You can embarrass each other even when apart

13. Secretly jealous of the pictures they post with their other friends

14. You call each other out when the other is being over-dramatic

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes.
