15 Things I Need To Thank My Boyfriend For

14. For letting me be one of the guys from time to time.

Reminding your boyfriend of his importance in your life is something so easy but also something we tend to forget to do after the first month of dating. Not because we mean to, but because we get comfortable and we subconsciously start taking for granted the things he does for us, but it's time to say thank you for all of the things (little and big) that he does for you.

1. For listening to me rant (or at least pretending to).

Whether it's me ranting about work, my course load, or just life in general, thank you for listening to my endless rants, even when I know you have better things to do.

2. For answering every one of my FaceTime calls with a smile.

Even if it's 3 am and I just want to say hi.

3. For offering to go shopping with me.

Especially because you know I could spend 24 hours inside of Target.

4. For always believing in me.

Thank you for never failing to remind me "you (I) can do it" or that you "believe in me." I know it's second nature to you, but it means more to me than you'll ever realize.

5. For being my duet partner in the car.

No matter how bad we sound together, I wouldn't have it any other way. And for the record, I think we sound pretty damn good.

6. For always taking care of me.

Whether it's just when I'm sick, or when I'm hungover the night after my 21st, thank you for offering to hold my hair back when I'm puking my guts out.

7. For the endless compliments.

You know damn well that I am not someone to give myself props when it comes to looks, but somehow you always know just what to say to make me feel like a million bucks.

8. For always making me laugh.

Granted 9/10 times I'm laughing myself to the point of tears because you're tickling me, but that aside, even your stupid jokes make me laugh pretty hard.

9. For ALWAYS making the decisions.

And by this I mean thank you for always telling me where we are going for dinner because you know I will never decide.

10. For always being down to stay in and watch a movie.

Even if I always fall asleep on you.

11. For putting in the effort.

You put in the effort to create relationships with my siblings, my friends and even my parents. That says a lot about you, and about us. And it is something that I could never thank you enough for.

12. For never getting annoyed when I take 20 pictures of you in a single day.

What can I say, I like showing you off.

13. For always making time for me.

I know we both lead busy lives, but thank you for always making time for me, even if it's at 3 am and all we do is sleep, I don't mind and I hope you don't either.

14. For letting me be one of the guys from time to time.

Even though we both know how important it is for each of us to make time for our friends, thank you for letting me be one of the guys once in a while. From dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings to letting me talk on the headset while you're playing video games, thank you for including me.

15. For being my best friend.

You are more than just my boyfriend, you are the first person I want to tell good news to and the last person I want to tell goodnight. There is no one I'd rather have by my side and I'm excited to see our growth in the future.

Thank you for absolutely everything, I know I probably don't say it enough, but I am so incredibly thankful for you and I can't imagine having anyone else by my side.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
