15 Things God Wants You To Remember

All around you there are people who are hurting, people who need love, people who need your encouragement. Let God use you gifts and talents to bless them.

God is always there, surrounding us with His love. He has never left your side nor will he ever. He is always listening and always rooting for you to succeed. And even when times are hard He will get you through it. Though thick and thin, here are 10 things that God wants you to remember,

1. I have made you. I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. -Isaiah 46:4

2. God's plans will always be greater and more beautiful than all your disappointments.

3. Love God and He will enable you to love others even when they disappoint you.

4. God has a bigger plan for you than you have for yourself.

5. You don't understand what I'm doing now, but someday you will. -John 13:7

6. You need not be afraid of where you're going, when you know God is going with you.

7. When you need, God knows, When you ask, God listens, When you believe, God works.

8. You may feel lost and alone, but God knows exactly where you are, and He has a good plan for your life.

9. Disappointments are just God's way of saying, "I've got something better".

10. God's plan is bigger than your mistakes.

11. Whatever burden you have in your heart, have faith in His and let it go.

12. God has a purpose for your pain, a reason for your struggles and a reward for your faithfulness.

13. Don't compare your love story to those you watch in movies. They're written by scriptwriters, Yours is written by God.

14. God won't put you to it, if He can't get you through it.

15. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9

More times often than not we forget to thank God for everything he's done for us. There is 86,400 seconds in a day and in that time it takes about 2 seconds to thank God for all He's blessed you with. He gave you another day to live, breathe, and be the person he created you to be. No matter where you are in life, don't forget God is always with you.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
