Walt Disney World the place where dreams come true. It is like no other place. Its hard to explain to non Disney people but I smile wider and laugh harder. Its an overwhelming feeling of joy, its hard to be sad or upset in a place that brings so much happiness to so many people. There are so many hidden gems and fun things to do around every corner. Here are some fun things you must do when you visit Disney World.

1. Dole Whip

Eat as many as humanly possible. If you have never tried one oh man are you missing out.

2.It's A Small World

Even though you may say you hate this ride, you somehow always end up on it before the trip comes to an end. Its a classic how could you not.

3.Watch Wishes Firework Show

The most perfect way to end your night in Magic Kingdom. No one does fireworks like Disney!

4. Stand in line to meet characters

Meeting characters is not just for little kids.I have no shame waiting 45-75 minutes to meet them. Its hard to explain the feeling you get once you are next in line and they are standing right there. It is totally worth the wait!

5.Take pictures in front of Cinderella's Castle

Here is your fairytale moment you have been waiting for your entire life. Get that perfect picture and post it on Instagram. Now just wait for Prince Charming to show up.

6. Character breakfast

Three words... Mickey Mouse Waffles. If that isn't enough, the interaction you get with the characters is something you will never forget. Everything taste better in Disney.

7. Incredibles Super Dance party

Who needs a club when you can dance with the Incredibles in Tomorrowland. Now is your time to shine. Go front row and show everyone your dance moves!

8. Mickey Ice Cream Bar

Even in the cold and rainy weather how could you resist getting one. They taste as good as they look! Be careful on the sunny days! Eat it fast so it doesn't melt, if that happens just buy another. Two is better than one am I right?

9. Rapunzel's bathroom

Tangled was hands down one of my favorite movies. I know for a fact I am not the only one, these are the most magical bathrooms you have ever seen.

10. Mount Everest in Animal Kingdom

The entire ride is a rush. As a matter of fact half of the time you are going backwards!

11. Ride the Monorail

Step aboard "the highway in the sky" and enjoy the ride. The monorail goes to Magic Kingdom and three resorts. It is totally worth it to take the ride for fun.

12. Take a picture holding the balloons

Not only does the picture come out cute, its a good memory to have. Many people do it , don't be afraid to ask!

13.Experience Disney with friends

Nothing is more magical then being at The Happiest Place on Earth with the people who make you the happiest.

14. Ride Splash Mountain

On a hot afternoon it is the best way to cool down. Also the best way to complain about how soaking wet you are.

15. Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios

The best way for your family/friends to enjoy some of the most memorable things disney has done. You get to sit in your favorite characters section and watch the fairytale stories unfold. Its literally a dream come true.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
