15 Things You Can Do To Chill The F*** Out

Guys, relax, seriously.

Last week was hellish, let's be honest. Our country's morals are disintegrating, our president is covered in Dorito dust, the racists are emerging from the cracks in the sidewalk, and there's just a**holes all around. But I digress. No matter which team to you play for, last week was stressful and it showed. Facebook fights raged on. Protesters flooded the streets (vive la résistance!). It was a relentless onslaught of drama. And frankly, I'm tired of it.

Now, that doesn't mean you should stop resisting! I'm right there with you, guys but, I'm not trying to lose all my hair from stress either. Life's about balance, everything in moderation. You have to regulate your levels of anarchy with relaxation.

So here's some things you can do.

1. Take a nap

Self-explanatory.

2. Dance around to "Les Misérables" or "Hairspray"

Let the angst fuel you.

3. Read a book

I recommend something by Kurt Vonnegut.

4. Go outside

I know, I know, it's scary out there, but fresh air is good for you.

5. Create some art

Every successful artist is pissed off about something.

6. Watch a movie

"V for Vendetta", "The Patriot", "Schindler's List"...

7. Drink some tea

The plant water is good for you, trust me.

8. Pet a dog

Always a good idea

9. Play a video game

Get some of that rage out, kiddos.

10. Write

It helps, trust me.

11. Exercise

You have to get in shape for those long marches.

12. Take another nap

One is never enough.

13. Star-gaze

We are all tiny and insignificant. Find some comfort in that.

14. Eat some pancakes

Always makes me feel better.

15. Realize that it's only four years

Seriously though, it's going to be okay.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
