Broad City is one of my favorite shows on TV. This Comedy Central Original follows Abbi and Ilana, two twenty somethings trying to navigate their lives in New York City. Throughout my freshman year of college this show got me through the ups and downs and have made me truly believe in real, true friendship.

1. We Are All Queens

2. Bath and Beyond Coupons NEVER Expire

3. How To Enjoy Shellfish Even If You Are Highly Allergic To It

4. How to Dance in a Moving Boxcar

5. The DMV Is An Actual Horror Movie

6. Getting Frozen Yogurt is a Major Life Choice

7. Being An Introvert Is Normal

8. It is Socially Acceptable to Bake and Eat a Whole Cake

9. Sneaking Food Into The Theatre is an Art

10. How to "Adult"

11. What FOMO Means

12. Being a True Maxxinista

13. Sometimes You Need To Cry it Out

14. Best Friends Will Always Be There For You

15. No Matter How Far Away You Are You Will Always Have Your Best Friend

From midnight runs to Target, treating ourselves to Yougurtini, and being iced out in the Fazolis parking lot, my best friend Nathan will always be the Illana to my Abbi. He has truly made my freshman year of college so incredible and I miss him so dearly. A big thanks for emptying out my entire storage locker, being my Tortellini Wednesday date, letting me sing the wrong words to "Criminal" and being my best friend. You always catch my vibe.

TTSGN,

Lexi

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
