Everyone has bad days. Whether you failed a test or got into a fender bender, there might just be something you need to cheer up. Here's a small collection of cute and happy pictures to help brighten your day.

1. PUPPIES.

Just look at those faces and tell me you don't feel ten times better! Because in the words of Travis from The Choice, "there's nothin' cuter than puppies in a basket!"

2. Kids in Costumes

Because parents taking full advantage of their baby's cuteness and inability to fight what clothes they wear is too funny not to pass up.

3. A Pretty View

Hopefully this relaxes you and also makes you go to Pinterest and find an exact destination for your upcoming and much needed vacation.

4. A Funny Joke

OK, this may be more on the stupid side, but I'm sure it made you smile.

5. Good News

Somewhere, at some time today, a sweet little doggy got adopted and now has a loving home and family.

6. Someone's Face When They Get Scared

If these people's reaction to getting scared doesn't make you giggle, then you may have more compassion than most because that's plain funny.

7. A Good Memory

I wish I could tell you what your best memory is in order to cheer you up, but as soon as you saw this you thought of a memory didn't you? That's good. Just bask in that memory for a minute.

8. Something That Makes You Smile Even Though It's Stupid

Ridiculously stupid? I hope so!

9. A Sight for Sore Eyes

Hopefully the site of this amazing set up relaxes you. Maybe it also gives you inspiration to take a bubble bath yourself and relax.

10. More Sights for Sore Eyes

I mean come on. If The sight of a comfy bed, a fireplace and a dog don't put you at ease and brighten your day a bit then I don't know what will.

11. Something to Make You Relax

Ugh, just looking at that, I'm more calm.

12. A Reminder of Who Can Brighten Your Day

Just a list of some of the people that can help you smile when you are sad as well as the things you can do to get there.

13. An Inanimate Best Friend

Whatever your real best friend is that isn't human: chocolate, alcohol*, diamonds, go out and get some and make yourself happier. *Please drink responsibly

14. A Flashback to Your Childhood

A flashback to the easier days where you didn't have a care in the world can sometimes ease your hurt.

15. A Reminder

In case you needed to hear it: You Are Wonderful.

Hopefully these things brighten your day a little because you deserve to smile.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
