Most people look back on their middle school years with embarrassment, but let’s be real, our pre-teen years during the 2000s were some of the best. Maybe you had braces, wore Etnies and loitered at the mall for hours with 20 bucks to your name; you were on top of the world and no one could tell you differently. If you were as hip and cool as your AIM username probably was, these 15 signs you were a 2000s teenybopper should ring true!

1. You couldn't tell difference between N'Sync and the Backstreet Boys.

2. You connected with Avril Lavigne on a spiritual level.

3. "My Super Sweet Sixteen" filled you with so many false expectations about turning 16.

4. Troy and Gabriella were the ultimate definition of #RelationshipGoals.

5. The Jonas Brothers were the three best things you never knew you needed.

6. You wanted to be a Spy Kid when you grew up.

7. "That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana" was the ultimate crossover.

8. It was impossible not to laugh at "Shrek".

9. You low-key believed in magic because Harry Potter was so convincing.

10. You weren't terribly ashamed to own a copy of "Kidz Bop."

11. You sang along to 50 Cent's "In Da Club" and "Candy Shop" when you really probably shouldn't have.

12. That time when the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana joined forces could have brought you to tears of happiness.

13. You owned way too many copies of "Tiger Beat," "Bop," "M," "J-14," and "Pop Star" magazines.

14. Your bedroom walls aptly showcased your shameless accumulation of said magazines.

15. You were helplessly envious of the girl in the black and white striped shirt in Justin Bieber's "One Time" music video.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help.
