It's hard to believe sometimes, but Taylor Swift has been around for over 10 years. Yes, you read that right. She released her self-titled album back in October of 2006 and "Tim McGraw" and "Our Song" were stuck in many people's heads plenty of time before the album was released. I remember seeing Taylor Swift when she was opening for Rascal Flatts. There's one thing I've been thinking about recently, though. Since Taylor's been around since I was 10 or 11, I probably didn't get a lot of her music. So after a sudden craving for my favorite blonde pop princess--who isn't Britney--I spent the week listening to four of Taylor's biggest albums and picking out lyrics that I speak to me. Here's 15 Taylor Swift lyrics I finally get, from Red to Taylor Swift.

1. "We blocked the noise with the sound of 'I need you.'" - Holy Ground, Red (2012)

Never in my life have I understood this lyric more than I do right now. When this album first came out, I didn't particularly like this song--and who can blame me with the biggies like Red and 22 on it?--but, recently, it speaks to me. It seems that I'm often overwhelmed and stressed and find my anxiety getting the best of me, but when I'm with that one person, nothing matters except the two of us and how much I've missed him.

2. "This is the last time I'm asking you why you break my heart in the blink of an eye." - The Last Time (feat. Gary Lightbody), Red

In the last year and a half, I've experienced plenty of heartbreak. It got to the point that I had to ask 'why?' and set some rules of my own.

3. "So he calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you,' and I'm like... I just... this is exhausting, ya know?" - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Red

I've had this conversation more than once in the last few years and it's now one of my favorite lyrics. Allison Baker wrote an article last week that was just Taylor's break up songs lyrics that includes another lyric from this song and others that I have always loved.

4. "All that I know is I don't know how to be something you miss." - Last Kiss, Speak Now (2010)

This is probably the most heartbreaking thought that has ever come to my mind after an awful breakup.

5. "I just realized everything I have is someday gonna be gone." - Never Grow Up, Speak Now

Since this album came out when I was 14, I didn't really understand this song--besides the part that talks about being 14. Listening to this song now, I almost cried when it got to this lyric.

6. "She should keep in mind there is nothing I do better than revenge." - Better Than Revenge, Speak Now

I didn't discover how savage I could be when it came to relationships until a year after this album came out and let me tell you, it's not pretty when I think someone's after the person I'm dating or like. As I've told my current boyfriend on more than one occasion, "I don't play nice."

7. "Kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain." - Sparks Fly, Speak Now

That kiss that just makes the world and all its problems melt away is my favorite.

8. "I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain." - The Way I Loved You, Fearless (2008)

When this album came out, I thought I wanted a relationship where we never fought or disagreed and my parents loved him and he treated me nice. Then I got it and I decided maybe not so much. People in healthy relationships fight sometimes, if you don't, you can get bored--or at least I do.

9. "Can't you see I'm the one who understands you? Been here all along." - You Belong With Me, Fearless

I've been that girl for a guy before and have had that guy waiting for me before.

10. "You can tell me that you're sorry but I don't believe you, baby, like I did before." - You're Not Sorry, Fearless

We've all gotten to this point in a relationship and it is one of the most heartbreaking things that you have to say out loud because it means that it's really over.

11. "When I'm with anybody else, it's so hard to be myself and only you can tell." - I'm Only Me When I'm With You, Taylor Swift (2006)

We've all got those people who understand who we really are better than anyone else, but can also call us on our BS when they know we're putting on an act. I'm so glad I found my people.

12. "So I start a fight 'cause I need to feel something." - Cold As You, Taylor Swift

Like I said, people in healthy relationships fight sometimes. Not fighting can be disastrous.

13. "He's the song in the car I keep singing." - Teardrops On My Guitar, Taylor Swift

We all have that song that reminds of us of that one guy that's either still in our lives, that we never had, that we lost, or that lost us.

14. "How can I ever try to be better when nobody ever lets me in?" - The Outside, Taylor Swift

Feeling like you don't belong is the worst. When it seems like no one is willing to help you fit in, how can you ever figure out what will help?

15. "When we're on the phone and you talk real slow 'cause it's late and your momma don't know." - Our Song, Taylor Swift

Hearing this lyric makes me laugh now because I was dating this guy over the summer and we would wait for my mom to go to bed before he called me.

Hate on Taylor Swift all you like, but she's been one of my favorite musicians for 11 years and I've seen her in concert three times--boy, does she put on a good show. Plus, you've gotta admit that she's super relatable.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
