Most people wake up in the morning to the smell of a fresh pot of coffee and can't start their day without it. Then two hours of being awake pass by and they crave for another cup or two. Half the day goes by and they're falling asleep in their lecture or at work which means it's time for another one. And so on...
It's really easy to forget about the people who don't live off of brown colored caffeinated hot water. We may not struggle living without coffee as much as others do, but we struggle with the assumption that basically everyone on the planet drinks coffee.
1. Having to suffice with limited number of non-coffee drinks at Starbucks or any coffee shop
2. You don’t understand how people can consume so much coffee in one day
3. Fearing that people will judge you for ordering a cup of tea or hot chocolate when you “go out for coffee”
4. You get upset when there’s no hot water and tea bags/hot chocolate mix at a coffee table during a meeting or event
5. Having people constantly give you funny looks when you tell them you don’t drink coffee
6. You don’t understand how people can’t function without a cup of coffee
7. Constantly having to lecture people about how bad coffee is for them
8. Trying to talk to your friends before they’ve had their first cup
9. Dying to know what a “good cup of coffee” tastes like, but at the same time, not understanding why people drink bitter hot dirt in the first place
10. When people offer you coffee, but not tea so you’re awkwardly deciding whether or not you should ask for tea
11. You’re sick and tired of explaining to people why you don’t like coffee
12. Panicking when people ask for a cup of coffee and you don’t have any in the house
13. Feeling awkward having to ask someone to get you a hot chocolate when they go out on a ~coffee run~
14. Forgetting to offer coffee when you have guests over
15. Wishing everyone was obsessed with tea and not coffee
