Some common phobias that exist are arachnophobia, claustrophobia, etc. But, there are many interesting phobias that a lot of people don't know of.

Like have you ever heard of anatidaephobia- the fear of ducks? Here are some other interesting phobias!

1. Aquaphobia - fear of water

2. Hippopotomonstrsesquippedaliophobia - fear of long words

Fun fact: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the English dictionary; it is a word that refers to a lung disease contracted from the inhalation of very fine silica particles, specifically from a volcano; medically, it is the same as silicosis.

3. Achievemephobia - fear of success

4. Globophobia - fear of balloons

5. Phobophobia - fear of fear

Fun fact: Phobophobia might develop because of the fear from other phobias.

6. Panophobia - fear of everything

7. Podophobia - fear of feet

8. Pediophobia - fear of dolls

9. Achondroplasiaphobia - fear of midgets

Fun fact: It is also called Nanosophobia or Lollypopguildophobia.

10. Athazagoraphobia - fear of being forgotten

Athazagoraphobia is one of the rarest phobias to exist in the world.

12. Telephonophobia - fear of talking on the phone

13. Pogonophobia - fear of beard

14. Omphalophobia - fear of belly button

15. Chaetophobia - fear of hair
