Music is a universally celebrated art-despite differences in language or culture, we can all connect through music. I believe music says the words you don't necessarily know how to form yourself. It helps us to understand better and it helps us to feel understood. I've always been partial to music. I love those lyrics that feel as if the artist took the words right out of your mouth. I'm a fan of such a wide variety- I can get down to some Backstreet Boys, but don't think for a moment I won't belt out a good Celine Dion song. The difference in music styles is what makes it so timeless and appealing because it never gets old- it's always evolving and changing. My best friend and I have a ritual of going for very long drives (sorry mom and dad for my gas bill) and exchanging new songs. Sometimes we talk about everything and sometimes we talk about nothing at all, but great music is always a constant. And so with that in mind I give you the best mix playlist you've ever heard:
1. Good Grief- Bastille
2. Swim- Valley
3. Crimson- Noah Kenton
4. 2/14- The BAND CAMINO
5. Shape of my Heart- Backstreet Boys
6. This I Promise You- N'Sync
7. Back for Good- Take That
8. Where Does the Good Go- Tegan and Sarah
9. Seventeen Forever- Metro Station
10. Give a Little Bit- The Goo Goo Dolls
11. Thread- Saint Raymond
12. You & Me- Marc E. Bassy, G-Eazy

Music brings people together. It always has and always will be one of my favorite ways to see people express themselves. I can't promise that this magical playlist will fix your problems, but it sure will help. These songs bring back so many of my favorite memories and they'll always have a special place in my heart. I hope they come to hold a special place in yours too.
