Breakups suck. There is no easy way to sugarcoat the fact that losing someone you loved is a painful feeling. So if you are going through a tough breakup, grab the ice cream and your girlfriends and binge-watch Nicholas Sparks movies for an entire weekend while bawling your eyes out. It is okay. When you're still feeling the sting, but you realize how much better you deserve, here are the 15 best songs to jam to while you get past the final hump. Keep your head up, lady.

1. "Me, Myself, and I" by G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha

This is for when you need to be reminded you'll always have yourself so you better treat you right.

2. "Same Old Love" by Selena Gomez

If Selena can get over Justin Bieber then you can get over anyone.

3. "Ugly Heart" by G.R.L.

I can not explain how great this song is to sing at the top of your lungs when you feel that missing-him feeling coming on.

4. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift

You had to know Taylor Swift would be on this list somewhere. She is the queen of breakup songs.

5. "Leave the Pieces" by The Wreckers

Because guys are confusing, and girl you deserve someone who wants you 100%.

6. "Best Thing I Never Had" by Beyonce

You need some of that Beyonce confidence to get you through.

7. "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce

This song will make you feel beautiful and so much better than you were before.

8. "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson

Sure this is pretty cliché and over used for girls going through a break up, but it really is a good one.

9. "Aftertaste" by Shawn Mendes

I absolutely love this guy. His voice could cure any heartbreak.

10. "Consider me Gone" by Reba McEntire

Because if a guy is okay with letting you go, then you better walk away and never look back.

11. "Kerosene" by Miranda Lambert

For when you get super angry at the guy.

12. "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera

Her strong vocals match the strong message throughout the song and it makes you feel untouchable.

13. "How to be a Heartbreaker" by Marina and the Diamonds

Because you'll get to the point where you are ready to get back out there, but you don't even want to risk getting hurt again right now.

14. "No" by Meghan Trainor

Because you'll go out, have fun, and love being single.

And lastly, when you look back on the relationship and realize how happy you are that it happened, go ahead and listen to ...

15. "Never Forget You" by Zara Larsson and MNEK

Even when you know you don't want the person back, there will still be times when you hear a song or think of a memory and miss them all over again. It's okay to admit you still think about them. It takes a long time to shake a broken heart but trust me: your person is out there and until you find them listen to these on repeat in the car, shower, or whenever you need a good pep talk through music.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way.
