For some Summer is just around the corner, and for others, Summer has already arrived. Mine and many others' favorite thing to do in the summertime is to drive around town with my besties, blaring our favorite songs, with all of the car windows down. Here are 15 more than blare-worthy songs that will get you and your besties super excited for summer!
1. "Capital Letters" By Hailee Steinfeld & Bloodpop
Famous for being from the soundtrack of the popular movie Fifty Shades Freed, this song is a crowd favorite. One of my favorite sayings is, “Live today in all caps," and when I hear this song I want to do just that. What exactly does this mean you may ask? Well, I interpret it as just living life to the fullest, which is a must during the summertime
2. "Freaky Friday" By Lil Dicky feat. Chris Brown
We all know the Sunday scaries are real, so we can't forget about those freaky Fridays. A comical song (I mean what by Lil Dicky isn't funny) they are sure to include many satirical lyrics that playoff both Chris Brown and Lil Dicky's pasts.
3. "Friends" By Anne-Marie & Marshmello
This song is crucial to play for that boy you're looking to friend zone this summer. A catchy beat and it literally spells out for them that you want to be just friends, so you don't have to. How much easier can it get!?

Another important song to play for that boy you just are not vibing with. All you have to tell them is to make sure they actually listen to the words, and they'll get the memo.
5. "The Middle" By Zedd, Marren Morris & Grey
Commonly liked by many, fans were shocked when Marren Morris was chosen to be the main vocalist for this song. She is mostly known to be more of a country singer, but her vocal quality mixed with the EDM beat makes for a killer pop hit.
6. "I Wanna Know" By NOTD feat. Bea Miller
Recently released and considered to be an electro-pop song, this song is basically about getting replaced and wondering if the new girl compares to what the other relationship was like. Infectiously catchy, it melds the fun beat with Miller's hypnotic vocals.
7. "God's Plan" By Drake
Name one song by Drake that isn't a hit... I'll wait. Also, name one person who hasn't heard this song, I can guarantee it's not possible. Screaming song lyrics is crucial for summer and if you don't scream the lyrics
"she said do you love me, I tell her only partly. I only love my bed and my momma, I'm sorry,"
then well yeah, you're lame I'm sorry.

Let's be honest, summer is the time to make mistakes and this song encourages the heck out of it.If you are wondering if you should do something risky, put this song on repeat and then just go for it.
9. "Mine" By Bazzi
Aw! For those of you out there who have significant others then this a cute relationship song. For those of you who do not have significant others (like myself) just pretend Bazzi is singing about/to you! Trust me, it works like a charm and feels very realistic.

This pop song is about what falling in love sounds like, and how it can at times happen very quickly. It's both reckless and intoxicating and like many songwriters stems from her real experiences.
11. "Your Side of the Bed" By Loote
The dynamic New York-based duo Loote makes it very apparent they have replaced an ex in this song. Considered a celebratory song about moving on, if you're going through a breakup this song perfectly captures the feelings you go through. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
12. "Nice For What" By Drake

With more of a catchy deep house vibe, this summer inspired tune keeps a chill pace and has a unique drop. The vocal of the drop has been chopped, but in a natural and elegant way only making the song better.
14. "Stay" By Post Malone
Beerbongs & Bentley's!! It is about time. Stay focuses on Post's struggle to keep a relationship together, and questions the entire nature of a relationship. With more of a slower tempo compared to his other tracks, this is for sure a soothing bop.
15. "You're Not Missing Me" By Chelsea Cutler
This song is vulnerability in a nutshell. Sometimes when we try to enter into relationships, we over analyze and second guess every little thing. This song celebrates our insecurities, and validates the fact that we are doing the best that we can.
