1. Rihanna's "Work" is your summer anthem. And you've grown pretty accustomed to it, too.

2. All of your friends are partying at the beach.

3. And you have no tan.

4. But at least you make that money.

5. You can finally relate to your mom's complaints of long and hard days at work... And then you proceed to pass out on your bed as soon as you get home.

6. You know more about your coworkers than you want to.

7. All of your SnapChat stories are of coffee and work. And sometimes a selfie with your bestie at the workplace. But usually, it's your coffee.

8. You only see your friends when they meet you for a bite to eat during your lunch break.

9. The only clothes you wear are work clothes. No cute summer shorts for you! And when you get home, the first thing you do is put on your favorite pair of sweatpants.

10. You become used to hearing your coworker's life story about 70 times a week. You also get used to pretending like you care.

11. You learn how to deal with rude people.

12. You measure the value of something in hours of work. Is that top really worth four and a half hours of faxing papers...?

13. Tears of joy when you can clock out early!

14. Friends: "Don't you feel overworked? Can you just take a break?" Me: *rolls eyes*

15. In the end, you learn a lot about life and you feel like you're making a contribution to society. So give yourself a pat on the back- you deserve it!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe.
