15 Signs You're The Mom Of Your Friend Group

1. You always expect a text from your friends after a night out so you know they got home safely.

Someone's gotta make sure they didn't fall asleep at the bus stop with a half eaten chicken nugget and a water bottle full of anything but water.

2. A relationship doesn't mean anything until it has your seal of approval.

Sometimes love is very, very blind.

3. Your purse is a blackhole of everything anyone could ever possibly need.

From practical things, like chapstick and a pen, to the most random things, like a spoon and cold medicine, your purse is a grocery store, pharmacy, beauty salon, and office desk all in one. If your friend needs it, it is almost certainly in your purse. Hey, you never know when you might need a can opener.

4. You are constantly picking your friends up and giving them lectures about their poor life choices.

Just because their parents don't know about the stupid things they are doing, doesn't mean you don't and doesn't mean that they don't need some guidance.

5. On the flip side, you are also there to support them and congratulate them on all of their big accomplishments.

Even if that accomplishment was just getting out of bed for their 8 AM. We all know that deserves a lot of praise.

6. You are always there to listen to all of their problems, drama, and tragedies and help them work through them.

From big to small, you're there for them all.

7. You nag them all the time about how they are dressed.

It's cold out there, don't you know.

8. You don't care what your friends say, Food Network and HGTV are cool.

They'll thank you when you cook them a chef worthy meal or redecorate your dorm like it is straight out of a Better Homes and Gardens.

9. You always keep your room and their rooms clean, and still feel the need to clean before guests come over.

Never underestimate the power of a clean room.

10. You plan every minute of your day (and your life), and stick to a tight schedule.

You don't know how anyone else ever knows where to be without a schedule like yours.

11. You leave your friends cute notes.

A word or encouragement can go a long way.

12. You are constantly amazing your friends at the things you know how to do.

Stitch up a rip in clothing, make homemade ketchup, polish shoes.

13. Your friends come to you before their doctor for medical advice.

You're way under qualified, but you still are always answering the question "Can I take this with Tylenol?"

14. You go to bed much earlier than everyone else, and encourage them to do the same.

Even though they never listen.

15. And the most obvious sign of all, your friends CALL you mom.

Own it.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Barn Pros

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.
