The holidays are approaching and so is finals week. You're so close to being done with this semester, but somehow the end still seems so far away. Despite having so much left to do, chances are you have reached the point in the semester where you are just done.

1. You can barely get out of bed anymore.

At this point, getting out of bed is a struggle. As soon as the alarm goes off to get up and get ready, you immediately start questioning if you should skip.

2. You skip class way more than you should.

When you do manage to drag yourself out of bed, you fight with yourself over if you should actually go to class today or not.

3. You haven't had an actual meal in too long.

You're living off leftovers, crappy meal plan and frequent Chipotle runs. You can't wait to get home and have your parents make you an actual meal.

4. You're too scared to check your GPA and bank account.

You're at that point where you know your GPA is probably higher than the amount of money in your bank account, and you're too scared to face it.

5. You consider dropping out more than once a day.

Honestly, is a degree even worth it anymore?

6. Wine nights are what get you through.

Thank you, alcohol.

7. Everyone around you is starting to become annoying.

You've spent way too much time together, and you are ready for a break.

8. Your everyday activities include napping and Netflix.

Who needs to study or finish that paper when you could take a nap? Or binge watch Netflix?

9. You've given up on trying to look nice for class.

Sorry to the cute boy in your class. Dressing up and looking nice just isn't something you can do only to sit in class anymore.

10. Your motivation is gone.

Your to-do list is probably a mile long, but you have no motivation to do anything.

11. You have a breakdown at least once a day.

Having a breakdown is a daily thing at this point.

12. You question your major and future almost daily.

Is this really what I want to do with my life? I don't even know anymore.

13. You cry a lot.

When you aren't napping or watching Netflix, you are probably crying.

14. You take the time to calculate the lowest score needed on your finals.

Your motivation is gone and you are trying to figure out the lowest score you need to pass your classes.

15. You're basically living off coffee.

And even coffee isn't doing the trick anymore.

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement.
