Being the older sibling has it's ups and downs. Here are 15 things that you will most likely relate to if you were graced with the position of the "oldest".

1. From the minute your younger sibling was born, you loved them, but you knew you would be the boss.

2. Growing up, you got the blame for everything. Getting in trouble by the cute, secret mastermind younger siblings was nothing out of the ordinary.

3. You turn around for 1 minute and most of your clothes magically appeared in their closets.

4. Or when you borrow their clothes and World War 3 has begun.

5. When you get into a fight with your younger sibling and they start to cry, you knew it was all over.

6. But it’s okay because it’s your picture that appears most in the family scrapbooks.

7. You would bribe them to do things for you when you were too lazy.

8. You always deserve to sit in the front seat when going out, and you actually get salty when your younger sibling takes it.

9. Being the oldest, you were the natural born boss…and considered to be the bossiest person alive by your younger siblings.

10. You were the designated baby sitter when your parents weren’t around.

11. You always got in trouble when you wouldn’t let your sibling hang out with you and your friends.

12. You went through everything first, therefore always making it easier on your younger siblings.

13. Parents are always stricter with you.

14. You were pressured to always put up a good example for your siblings, just because you were older.

15. But at the end of the day, you would do anything to protect them and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:
