My best friend and I are very close. I don't just mean that we spend a lot of time together; no, we spend almost all of our time together. We know things about each other that we would die before telling another soul. We're pretty much a packaged deal at this point, and some might say our relationship borders on co-dependency. Really, we need each other for balance. We keep each other from making terrible life decisions on our own, and instead, do them together. However, we're fully functioning human beings who just happen to prefer the company of the other. Nothing unhealthy about that, right? Here are 15 signs you and your best friend spend way too much time together.

1. You can finish each other's sentences.

It makes people genuinely uncomfortable when you guys say the same things at the same time.

2. You can speak entirely in quotes and inside jokes.

*Everyone else who has to be around you guys.*

3. Sometimes you don’t even need to speak to communicate.

4. You do everything together.

5. When you double date, it’s understood that you two are one couple and your S.O.’s are the other.

6. People call you by the other’s names.

7. It’s automatically understood that she’s your plus one to anything and vice versa.

8.You’re probably on the same cycle.

Sorry, everyone.

9. You start to miss her if you go 24 hours apart.

10. You absolutely do not drink without each other.

11. She unleashes your full crazy.

Nothing brings out your wild and crazy side quite like some quality time with your best friend. She's involved in all of your stupid decisions, and you're involved in all of hers. Sometimes, people can't spend too much time with the two of you at once because you're just too strange.

12. Your closet is her closet.

13. Your family is just as excited to see her as they are to see you.

14. All your plans for the future include “we.”

15. You would literally be lost without her.

She's your best friend and you know she'll be there for you no matter what.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
