So you go to Bowdoin College, and I go to Bowdoin College, and we all go to Bowdoin College. Do you know how we know we go to Bowdoin College? Well, I present to you, the 15 signs that you are a Bowdoin College student:

1. You are not even surprised anymore by the fact that people don't know where or what Bowdoin College is.

People: Wait, is Bowdoin College like a community college or something?

Me: No, not at all. More like prestigious Liberal Arts College.

People: Oh wow, I didn't know you were into arts and crafts.

Me: *Facepalm*

2. You have to tell everyone that Bowdoin is not pronounced like "Bawwwdooinng."

Guys, it sounds like "Snowed-in," but Bowdoin.

3. You actually don't know all the lyrics to our Alma Mater, but just know that there is a part where you fist-pump in the air, and it's the greatest moment of your life.

"Bowdoin from Birth, our Nurturer and Friend!..."

To be honest, I still don't know the lyrics...

4. You are probably piled up with work, readings, essays, and lab reports 24/7.

You probably didn't expect that Bowdoin College would be THIS hard. Hah, jokes on you.

5. Your definition of "good grades" probably changed A LOT from High School.

6. You wish that your unused "printing allocations" can be transferred to "Polar Points."

I am already out of my Polar Points, anyone else in the same boat?

7. You still don't know what Go Ubears mean, but you say it anyway.

Go UBears!

8. Squirrels...Squirrels....SQUIRRELS

9. You've probably taken the classic "Sunset Chapel, and Fall Leaves" picture.

But hey, Bowdoin college is beautiful, and sunset is beautiful, and Fall is beautiful here, so you just have to take that picture.

10. It's December. You wake up, check the temperature outside, and it's 20 degrees. And you say "thank god, today is actually warm."

So yeah, Maine is...cold. Just a bit. It goes down to like -15 degrees, no big deal.

11. You know what it feels like when you go to the Lab at 1 PM, come out at 4 PM, and it's pitch black outside.

Literally, where is the Sun at?

12. 99.9% of the people at Bowdoin are from "Just outside of Boston."

13. People still don't know what or where Bowdoin College is.

14. But then, you get so excited, I mean, SO EXCITED when people actually know Bowdoin College!

Omg, you know Bowdoin College? You are amazing, I love you.

15. And last but not least, although you complain how this college is so hard, and how this college sucks, deep-inside, you know you love Bowdoin College, and you just can't imagine being somewhere else.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
