Students all over the country have made the transition to online schooling, and for many, it will last until the end of the academic year and even into the summer. Having to deal with this is difficult in the midst of a global pandemic, so here are some reminders for you if you are a student.
You are smart.
Try your best.
You may not achieve exactly what you want, but as long as you are giving a good effort, that is what matters.
Practicing self care is important.
You don't have to spend all day behind the computer.
Try to take walks around your neighborhood.
Your mistakes do not define you.
School is almost over.
Productivity does not define your worth.
Take advantage of any pass/fail options if you need them and they are available to you.
It's okay to ask for help.
Take some deep breaths.
Don't hesitate to reach out to your friends.
Find a mindless activity to do.
I've been teaching myself how to knit.
