"One Tree Hill" will always be my favorite show. Seeing character developments like Nathan Scott and learning life lessons, the show was overall really great. Along with amazing characters, those characters said some memorable things. I still revisit quotes from this show because they are just that good. Here are 15 quotes from various characters on "One Tree Hill" that everyone can relate too in some way, shape or form.

1. "It's the oldest story in the world. One day you're 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life." -Nathan Scott

This quote is something I think most 17-year-olds can relate too. I remember planning for college and where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do. Then all of a sudden I had decided where I was going. Then I was moving in. And now, I have just over a month left of my freshman year of college.

2. "At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes — all you need is one." -Peyton Sawyer

Sometimes with life coming at you at one hundred mph, all you need is one person to calm you down and make life less difficult. This could be your best friend, significant other, or even someone in your family. It doesn't matter who it is, what matters is that there's nobody like them.

3. "There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroad, afraid, confused, without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Of course, when faced with the unknown, most of us prefer to turn around and go back. " -Lucas Scott

People have to make so many important decisions in their lives. They don't know what to do and don't know what will come from the choice they make, so they don't want to make a hard decision. But, sometimes, the hardest decisions have the best results.

4. "There’s no shame in being afraid. Hell, we’re all afraid. What you gotta do is figure out what you’re afraid of because when you put a face on it, you can beat it. Better yet, you can use it." -Whitey Durham

Everyone is afraid of something. How you react is the important part.

5. "My mama told me that, sometimes people have to cry out all their tears to make room for a heart full of smiles." -Jamie Scott

Jamie was so young when he said this and it couldn't be truer. It's okay to cry.

6."Sometimes, it's easy to feel like you're the only one in the world who's struggling, who's frustrated, or unsatisfied, or barely getting by. That feeling is a lie." -Lucas Scott

Everyone is struggling with something at some point. You are not alone.

7. "We're all crazy, some of us just hide it better than others." -Nathan Scott

8. "I developed a bad habit somehow just, letting things happen to me instead of going after what I really want." -Keith Scott

It's important to take control of your own life. Do what you want to do.

9. "It's hard when you miss people. But, you know, if you miss them, it means you were lucky. It means you had someone special in your life, someone worth missing." -Nathan Scott

People will come and go in your life, but that's okay.

10. "Whenever you're having a bad day, someone else out there is having a worse day. So just stop and focus on all the good things." -Lucas Scott

Your worst day could be worse. Focusing on the good things can help make things not feel so bad.

11. "Live life for the moment because everything else is uncertain. Take advantage of what's right in front of you." -Rachel

The future isn't promised, so, live for today.

12. There's a day when you realize that you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior." -Peyton Sawyer

Life will test you in so many ways, but you will get through it.

13. "The rest of your life is being shaped right now. By the dreams you chase. The choices you make. And the person you decide to be." -Haley James Scott

You're in charge of who you want to be.

14. "Sometimes in order to move forward, you have to go back." -Nathan Scott

Life is hard, but you have to keep fighting and pushing through it. No matter what.

15. "Realize now that when your heart breaks you've got to fight like hell to make sure you're still alive. Because you are. And that pain you feel? That's life. That confusion and fear? That's there to remind you that somewhere out there is something better and that something is worth fighting for." -Nathan Scott

Again, life will test you. Fighting through it no matter what will be so rewarding. Never give up.

There are so many amazing quotes from this show. There are funny ones, relatable ones, and every other type in between. These are only 15 that I love, but I am ready to watch all 9 seasons again and feel inspired. Props to the writers of "One Tree Hill", you hit the nail on the head with so many relatable quotes.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
