Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
—Phil Donahue

Life can be amazing, yet incredibly difficult. You go through each day not knowing what troubles are headed your way. You wear a smile on your face when all you truly want to do is cry, wishing and thinking that maybe the world would be better off without you.

It wouldn't; there are so many things in life and up the road yet to come. You just have to wait and see them for yourself. If you still need some convincing, here are 15 reasons why suicide is never the answer.

1. The World Needs You

You are the future. Your legacy will make an impact. Speak your voice and make yourself be heard! Be the change that this world needs.

2. You'll never know what happens in "Incredibles 2"

Every Disney fan has waited almost 15 years (12, since it's 2016) since the beloved movie "The Incredibles" was released. If you love Disney, make it your goal to live to see the beloved movie.

3. Pain always ends

It may not feel like the pain will ever end, but eventually, it will. One day, you will wake up and the sun will be shinning. All of your inner demons will fade away. You'll find happiness and finally no longer be in pain.

4. You are too beautiful to disappear

There's so much beauty in the world, including you. You are beautiful no matter what anyone says. Killing yourself would take so much beauty away from the world.

5. You may not realize, but you have changed someone's life

You may or may not have realized, but you have changed so many lives for the better. Without you, so many hearts would shatter.

6. There are so many new Adventures waiting for you

Whatever hardship you are facing in your life at the moment, it's not the end of the world or your life. There are so many new adventures and so many opportunities waiting for you.

7. Your future partner will praise your existence

Without you, there would be one less person in the world for someone to love. Someday you're going to meet the love of your life and he/she will love you with all of their heart and literally worship the ground you walk on. You may have been waiting for years to find someone to hold you close, but someday, that special someone will come around and you should be here to meet that person.

8. So many People care about you

It may not seem like it, but you are cared for. Your friends and family love and adore you, and they would do anything to keep you happy. It would devastate them if they found out you were no longer here, so please stay.

9. Recovery is possible

You are more powerful than your thoughts. Your mental illness does NOT define you. Remember, relapse happens, but you should never give up. I believe in you. Please don't ever stop fighting. Recovery is a work in progress.

10. You are not alone

Even if you don't believe it, there are so many people out there that understand what you are going through and are willing to help.

11. You are strong

Every time you were convinced you couldn't go on, you did. It may not seem like much but it is. You got through it, and you can get through it again.

12. Music saves lives

When words fail, music speaks. Music is a whole different universe that helps you escape reality. It's a means of expression. Find your soul in the music and let it carry you through life. There are so many songs that can relate to how you are feeling. Let the music get you through it.

13. You are good enough

For anyone who has told you otherwise, they are wrong. You are good enough!

14. You are loved

Always remember that you are loved. You are not a burden.

15. If you are looking for a sign not to kill yourself, this is it.

You are loved and without you the world wouldn't be the same. So please stay alive, take a deep breath, and know that it will be okay.

Love, Haylee & Niki

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter
morethanwheels

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
