There’s no doubt that spirit week is the best week of the school year. In the less than happening town of Randolph, New Jersey, it’s one of the most looked forward events of the year. Four years of high school means just four spirit weeks; Therefore, it’s become our duty to make each one count. Randolph High School may have its downfalls, but this week makes you proud to be a Ram for numerous reasons.

1. Flippin’ pancakes and burgers in the student lot before school.

What more could a senior ask for during a tailgate before school than food and friends? (There’s much more to do than just this of course *wink*)

2. The entire student body comes together.

A time for all to feel included, our RAMILY is definitely its strongest during the span of this week.

3. Defying administrations wrath.

If your grade doesn’t storm the hallways your senior year, you’re doing it all wrong…. AND NO, WE ARE NOT TURNING THE MUSIC DOWN.

4. USA Erry’day.

Without a doubt, it is guaranteed the seniors have one day filled with stars and stripes.

5. Every grade for themselves.

It’s pretty much a free for all as each grade has permission to verbally abuse each other for the week (*cough cough* junior senior beef).

6. Dress to impress.

Don’t be surprised if you see someone with an Afro wig walking down the halls. Some outfits definitely make heads turn.

7. The flood of Spirit Week pictures on your Instagram feed.

Pics or it didn't happen!!!

8. No hate, appreciate.

Anything goes this week, so rock those space buns you’ve been dying to strut all year. As long as you're dressed up, we don’t care how you do it.

9. Ram Pride Day gets everyone hyped.

Being a Randolph Ram is not something to be taken lightly. This day allows us to go all out with school pride and let our true colors show (we bleed blue & white).

10. Festivities continue from day to night.

Watching your peers get hypnotized has to be one of the most humorous things you may ever experience. Hallways isn’t something to be missed, either. Battling each other in ultimate frisbee and volleyball are just a few more highlights of a week that’s full of them.

11. A break in the typical routine of high school.

A little spirit week fun is the perfect way to brighten up the day. For the first time you find yourself being excited to go to school, which is a rarity at best.

12. Everyone going ALL IN.

Better have your poker chips on hand in time for the pep rally!!!

13. Memories are made.

With the tailgates, pep rally, Skylar, Hallways, hilarious dress up days, and much more, it’s hard not to have a memory filled week of the good ‘ole days.

14. A guaranteed win for the seniors.

It’s rigged, sorry juniors maybe next year.

15. Everyone pretty much takes part.

If you don’t dress up for spirit week, do you even go to RHS? Don’t be that kid.

With spirit week kicking off the school year, we are sure to have many more experiences to come with our days at Randolph High School. Whether it’s your first or last, it’ll be the first thing you think of looking back on your days here. No one does Spirit Week like the Rams!

With much love for RHS and our 2017 seniors,

Veronica & Sarah

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.

What's up Asshat,

I've composed a list of things that I wish upon you, and they're harsh and cruel. These things are things that I wouldn't wish upon my worst of enemies, not even that Starbuck's barista who always screws up my order, not even him. You fall into a whole other category of hate. You surpass Starbucks barista. Congratulations, I'm actually a pretty nice person, making you worthy of every single bit of torture I wish upon you. What are these things I wish upon you you might ask?
