1. Getting you snacks when you are too lazy to get up

Lets be honest having them as personal slaves was kinda fun

2. Scapegoats

I mean someone had to take the fall, right?

3. They always want to help just to have you around


I mean ALWAYS

4. Remind how annoying you used to be


Because everyone repeatedly says they act just like you did

5. Personal Therapists


You are constantly venting to them. Also whether they want to hear it or not they know they have to listen anyway.

6. They are your second closet

This is because they always stole your clothes and had to search for them in their rooms

7. Test subjects

Telling your brother a colored nail polish will dry clear just so you can test the color on him to make sure it will look good on you

8. Helped you learn the best ways to embarrass them

9. Gave you babysitting experience

But you kinda loved being in charge of them, be honest!

10. Taught you how to sell an idea before you knew that was a thing

11. They are your personal alarm clocks

How they don't understand the idea of sleeping in, We will never know

12. They taught you to have personal space because they were always in yours

13. Setting booby traps in your room so you know they went in it

14. They taught you how to be protective

15. They gave you at home best friends

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
