Block Island is my favorite place to go to during the summer for a day trip or even a vacation. Now let's make it your favorite place to go to!

Block Island is a beautiful place to go to for a day trip during the summer time or a vacation for a week or two. You can also go during the fall season, too. I can say myself that no matter what Block Island is beautiful, rain or shine. Therefore, here are 15 reasons why you should visit Block Island.

1. The sunsets are beautiful on the island!


2. The Ice Cream Place has amazing ice cream!


3. There are so many types of beaches on the island, from smooth sand to rocky!

There are many beaches, whether you want to hang with friends and family or if you want to just take a nice peaceful stroll on the beach by yourself or with someone.

4. The Mohegan Bluffs is amazing for its view, yet it is also known for the exercise of using the stairs to go to and from the Bluffs!

5.There are many stores to shop at and many restaurants to eat at.

Many stores have nice, natural, homemade, handcrafted paintings, body lotions, soaps, sprays, rubs, jewelry, paintings, clothing, homemade honey, jellies, jams, relishes, etc. from the little stores on the island. So many places to shop at and to go to.

6. The Light Houses are beautiful to go and see especially the South-East Lighthouse.

8. The Spring house is a nice hotel that has great service and their restaurant area is beautiful, as there are seats inside and outside — it's your choice where you want to eat!

Also, the food is delicious and of good quality made fresh every day! Also, they have a small but nice little bar ! P.S. The view is amazing as it has an ocean view !

9. There are many nice beautiful flowers on the island.

10. There are small and cute farm markets on the island.

Picking wild blackberries during the summertime is a great thing to do as there are many different areas on the Island where you can hand pick the blackberries on your own or with a family member or friend.

11. Great place to walk, ride a bike, travel by a car, motorcycle, or moped to get around the Island.

12. If you're looking for a book, just go to the Island Free Library and get your library book and check a book out!

It's always nice reading on the island whether it's at a restaurant or beach.

13. There are many activities you can do on the island from surfing, kayaking, parasailing, paddle boarding, fishing, and etc.


14. Check The Wind-farm Out!


15. There are nice little ponds and lakes to go to.

As a result, there are many things to do on Block Island that gives you more reasons to go to Block Island!

P.S Don't forget to check out Payne's Donuts as they have great donuts and also check out the cute little candy shops. Also to all college students, check out Ballards as that's the college place to be at. :)

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
