The best friendships often go without recognition for months at a time. It's routine to love this friend in your life, and they know you care, but maybe you haven't told them in a while. Well, here's something you can share on their Facebook page to remind them how special they are.

15 Reasons Why I Love And Appreciate You:

1. You Never Let Me Down

Not once have you ever let me down. You're there when I need you and always do the best you can. I can depend on you to bring me a latte when I'm running late for class or pick out my outfit for date night.

2. You Always Have My Back

If I'm lying to my parents or fighting an argument, you'll always be on my side. Whatever trouble I'm facing, I know you'll be right behind me to help me fight it.

3. You Love Me When I'm Unlovable

I've had some pretty bad days. Some of those days I might have even taken out my anger on you. But, I know tomorrow when I apologize you'll be there to forgive me. I'm so thankful you can see the good in me when the ugly comes out.

4. You Take Me Out Of My Comfort Zone

I would never have ridden that roller coaster without you or tried that strange new flavor of Lays. You make me try new things and I guess that's okay.

5. You Get Me Out Of Trouble

That weirdo on the dance floor kept trying to dance with me, but you came in and pretended there was girl emergency and drug me to the bathroom. What would I do without you?

6. You Sacrifice Your Needs For My Own

You had a dinner date, but you ended up being 30 minutes late because I needed you to pick me up when my car broke down. I can't believe you would literally drop anything to be there for me.

7. You Remind Me That I'm Important

I often forget how cherished I am, but you never fail to remind me. When I feel worthless, your friendship reminds me that I'm important to someone. Thank you for lifting me up.

8. You Make Me Laugh When I Want To Cry

Often, the world seems to be falling apart around me, but you always know how to make me smile when all I want to do is cry. What would I do without you there to cheer me up during my worst times?

9. You Call Me Out On My Crap

Sometimes I can be a little much. If I'm being extra bratty, you make sure to set me straight. Only a true friend is willing to upset me in order to better me for the future. Thanks for that, even though I might not see the good of it in the moment.

10. You Build Me Up

My biggest cheerleader, my greatest fan. You are the best at pushing me forward with encouragement and appreciation. You build me up so that I can achieve my dreams.

11. You Know When I Need Help

Sometimes I try to pretend like everything's okay, but you always see right through my lies. You know how to recognize when somethings off and you always show up ready to help.

12. You Love and Appreciate Me Too

Our friendship goes both ways. We always give each other the same love and appreciation for the special bond we have.

Thanks for being that one-of-a-kind friend and never failing to make my day brighter. I hope you know that I truly love and appreciate you for all that you do. Here's to many more years of being like sisters and having each other's backs.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
