The season finale of "The Bachelor" aired on ABC. The dreamy Ben Higgins gave his final rose to Lauren B, leaving runner-up Joelle "Jojo" Fletcher heartbroken. Jojo was easily a fan favorite, and her supporters were equally stunned that Ben decided to let her go. But all tears were quickly wiped away, because Jojo is now the new Bachelorette. These are the reasons why she will be the best Bachelorette ever!

1. She's absolutely stunning.

And an entrepreneur! She opened her own real estate development company.

2. She's game for any sort of date...

Unless it involves pigs...then it's a no-go.

3. She's goofy.

I mean who comes out of the limo in a unicorn mask? Jojo isn't afraid to act ridiculous.

4. She has a bright and happy personality.

Throughout the season, Jojo was never the one to get tangled up in drama or let anyone put her down. Jojo was easily the most laid back and genuine in the house.

5. She has a sense of humor.

Season 20 was full of great Jojo quotes, and there's no doubt there will be even better ones on the Bachelorette.

6. She rolls with the punches.

No matter what goes wrong, you never see Joelle without a smile on her face (while also looking flawless).

7. She isn't afraid to put her feelings out there.

All while having picture-perfect hair.

8. She has her priorities straight.

Alcohol + working out = the best combo ever.

9. She's honest.

Every girl on "The Bachelor" claims that they are "real," but Jojo isn't afraid to talk about how ridiculous the whole situation really is. Her heart-to-heart with her mom really shows how real she is.

10. Her family!

Mama Fletcher knows what's up.

11. She has a great relationship with her brothers.

Who are a little overprotective, but also adorable! Which will definitely lead to some drama.

10. She's a risk taker.

Ben took Jojo on a ton of adventurous dates, and most of the women in the house would not fearlessly jump.

12. She can see the good in others...

And more importantly, she speaks her mind.

13. She doesn't hold back...

Or censor herself.

14. She's an animal lover.

Jojo's instagram is full of her dog Jackson, who couldn't be more adorable.

15. She put her heart on the line, and she's still willing to open herself up to love again.

May 23 can't come soon enough!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
