15 Questions You Had While Watching 'Riverdale'
Warner Bros. Television

"Riverdale" seems to be one of the biggest shows on Netflix right now. Featuring the characters from the "Archie" comics, this murder mystery is everything you could want for binge watching. Despite the fact that it's a bomb show, you'll probably still have some questions while watching it. While most of these questions aren't essential to the plot, hopefully a few of the answers will become more clear in the next season.

Warning: potential spoilers ahead.

1. Where even is Riverdale?

While it isn't a real town, it seems strange that we, as viewers, know nothing about this small town's location except that it is relatively close to New York City.

2. How did Archie get so fit working for his dad all summer?

I mean, pouring concrete is hard work, but is it hard enough to make him that fit after just a few weeks?

3. Why don't they look like high schoolers?

I want some of whatever they feed those teenagers in Riverdale because they're all awfully beautiful and adult looking to be in high school.

4. Why does everyone find their soulmate in highschool?

Archie's parents were high school sweethearts, Betty's parents were high school sweethearts, Jughead's parents were high school sweethearts...

5. How did Betty not see Archie all summer?

Like, you guys aren't only next door neighbors, but your bedroom windows face each other directly.

6. What happened to Betty and Kevin being BFFs?

In the very beginning of the show we see Kevin and Betty dreamily discussing Archie, but then after that they are barely even seen together without their crowd of friends.

7. For that matter, why is everyone so friendly?

Small town high school or not, how are they all such good pals all the time (except Chuck)?

8. How have Cheryl's parents not sent her off yet?

To be honest, Cheryl is crazier than crazy and it's fairly obvious. Considering that her parents are so obsessed with the image of the family, how on earth has she not been sent off to boarding school (or a mental institution) yet?

9. How did no one in town know that the Coopers' and the Blossoms' are cousins?

It's a small town and the little only goes back 3 or 4 generations, which is definitely a small enough time span that at least some of the people who spent their lives in Riverdale would still talk about it occasionally.

10. How is Pop's open 24 hours?

No matter what time the characters go to Pop's, he is always there. My question would be, when on earth does Pop sleep?

11. How did no one know that Jughead lived at the drive-in?

I know his parents aren't super attentive, but surely someone realized that there was a kid living at the drive in.

12. Why is Alice so crazy?

Lots of characters on Riverdale are nuts, but most of them have some kind of backstory. Was having to give her first child up for adoption enough to make Alice as vindictive as she is, or is there more to her story?

13. Speaking of that... Betty and Polly have an older brother. WHAT?

Like actually, though, what the heck?!

14. Which raises the question, why did Alice put Polly through the same thing she went through herself if it was so scarring for her?

At this point, I'm questioning everything about Alice Cooper. She was apparently scarred for life when she got pregnant in high school and her boyfriend scheduled her an abortion, which led her to go to the Sisters of Quiet Mercy, where the baby was given up for adoption. These events seem to have traumatized her, so why did she put her try to put her oldest daughter through the exact same thing?

15. How quick can we get season 2?

That cliffhanger (sorry, no pun intended) at the end of season one was MASSIVE. We fans really, really, REALLY need to know what happens there!

Basically, everyone is counting down the days until October when season 2 comes out amid many other shows.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
