The majority of people have gone through an emo phase. Lot's of makeup, pin straight hair with crazy pattern extensions. Of course, there was the music. So here are 15 things all former and present emos can relate too.

1. The emo trinity still gives you all the feels.

They will always be your babies. Even if they are years older than you. They are your babies and no can tell you other wise.

2. You still know all the words to almost every song, and you still jam just as hard.

You hear the intro to I Write Sins Not Tragedies and you just go ham.

3. MCRX shook you to the core.

You freaked out and while doing so ran and told all your friends, you didn't care if they understood, you just need to get all the excitement out.

4. Ever since then you are still holding out hope that MCR will get back together.

You know in your heart that it is 0.01% of them getting back together but that doesn't make you want it any less.

5. You still get proud parent feels when they do anything.

Everything from Brendon getting into the cast of Kinky Boots to him saying that he has ideas for a new song.

6.Drunk history of Fall Out Boy is still one of the best things that ever happened.

To much good came from that video. Including Pete actually getting a tattoo and Brendon pouring beer all over himself and forgetting about it.

7. You still love them but you also love making fun of them.

They just make it all to easy. I mean come on, Gerard called himself a jacket s*lt and Brendon makes fun of his own forehead.

8. To this day Norther Downpour still makes emotional, and yet you still have no clue what it means.

Is it about Ryden? Is it just a song that they wrote to confuse us? Is it a song they wrote while high and the band doesn't even know what it is about? The world may never know. In the words of a youtuber named CrankThatFrank " TELL US THE TRUTH ABOUT NORTHERN DOWNPOUR!"

9. You are still trying to figure out what Patrick Stump is saying in the majority of early Fall Out Boy songs.

You may not know the majority of the song but what you do know you will sing at the top of your lung and then just either hum the part you don't know or you just say screw it and make something up.

10. Brendon Urie has been in Panic! for 13 years and his vocal range still gets to you.

Four octaves and 7 notes. What can't this boy do. How does he still have a voice after all these year sheesh! Every time he hits a high you just have to grab your heart and steady yourself.

11. Teenagers is still your angst song, but now you can relate to it.

This song always made you feel like a BA and you always related to it even though you were a teen. But now that you are older you truly do and it still makes you feel like a BA listening to it.

12. You have grown with these bands and no matter what direction their music takes you are there for them.

You may not always love the new music but will always support their creativity. You will also let the music grow on you so in the end you will love it. But watching them change and morph before your eyes is always amazing.

13. You still get a kick out of all the long AF song titles.

Even on an iPhone 7+ the full song title doesn't fit on the screen. What were y'all thinking!

14. Oh and speaking of song titles, what about the ones that had no relation to the song at all.

I have spent years trying to figure out how Nails For Breakfast and Tacks For Snacks has anything to do with the song. Heck, I don't even truly know what the song is about.

15. And finally, whenever you hear the G note and it doesn't matter how far you have buried your emo self, it come back through.

You hear the emo battle cry, you suit up and ready to stand with the emo army once again. After you get done crying, of course.

Once an emo always an emo at heart.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
