After a trip I took to Spain and Portugal this past summer, I thought I would do some research and make a...bucketlist if you will, of places I want to go sometime in my life.

1) Bora Bora

Bora Bora is an island that used to be a volcano but it has subsided to become a barrier reef. The ecosystem of the reef provides clear blue water and very few waves making a peaceful and quiet place.

2) Germany but specifically...

Neuschwanstein castle. It is a nineteenth century castle in southern Germany. It is the inspiration for the famous Disney Castle.

3)Machu Picchu, Peru


Machu Picchu is an Incan ruins set high in the Andes Mountains. It was built in the fifteenth century but later abandoned. Its former exact use is still a mystery.

4) Plitvice Lakes National Parks, Croatia


Located in Central Croatia, it is known for a chain of 16 lakes, joined by waterfalls that extend into a limestone canyon.

5) Capilano Suspension Bridge, Vancouver, British Columbia


A simple suspension bridge that crosses the Capilano River in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

6) Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland

Dating from the thirteenth century, it is a fully restored castle where 3 lochs meet.

7) Interlaken, Switzerland

A traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. It has old timber houses and parkland on either side of it.

8) Zhangjiajie, China

A city in the Northwest of China's Hunan province. Thousands of jagged quartzite sandstone columns as well as caves filled with stalactites and stalagmites.

9) Tipasa, Algeria

Tipasa was a colonia in Roman Province Mauretania Caesariensis, nowadays called Tipaza, and located in coastal central Algeria.

10) Iguazu Falls, Brazil

Located on the border of the Argentine province of Misions and the Brazilian state of Parana. They are the largest waterfall system in the world.

11) Sea of Stars, Vaadhoo Island, Maldives

Vaadhoo is most known because of the sea of stars. The marine bio luminescence is generated by phytoplankton that are under stress.

12) The Pearl Waterfall, Jiuzhaigou Valley, China

The waterfall exists on one of the tributaries of the White Dragon River

13) Devetashkata Cave, Bulgaria

Devetàshka cave is a huge karst cave on the east bank of the river Osam.

14) Multnomah Falls, Oregon

Waterfall on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge along the Historic Columbia River Highway.

15) Lake McDonald, Glacier National Park, Montana

The largest lake in Glacier National Park. It is known for its multicolored rocks that make up the bottom.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
