15 Original Disney Channel Movies You Miss The Most

Being 19 years old, my friends and I are part of the generation that was born in the late 90s, but grew up in the early 2000s. There are so many different games, snacks, music and even hair accessories that were extremely popular back then that aren’t really seen anymore. With that in mind, one of the most missed aspects of my childhood were Disney Channel’s original movies. Whenever a special occasion comes along and they decide to air one of their films from 14 years ago the nostalgia begins. Here are 15 Disney Channel movies you probably miss the most:

1. "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century"

Who wasn’t jealous of the coolest girl in the galaxy? She was a hero, got to live in space, AND was friends with a super famous pop star.

2. "Life-Size"

You wouldn’t believe how much I cried at the end of this movie. After watching I prayed that one of my old Barbie dolls would come to life. Never forget to “shine bright, shine far!”

3. "Halloween Town"

This is by far the best Halloween movie out there. I still dream of visiting Halloween town…if only.

4. "Cadet Kelly"

Hilary Duff was one of my favorite actresses growing up, showing some serious girl power in "Cadet Kelly." Kelly definitely became a team player and loved her family more than anything.

5. "The Thirteenth Year"

"The Thirteenth Year" is one of the reasons that I have a mermaid obsession. I’d love to be a majestic creature from the ocean.

6. "The Ultimate Christmas Present"

This one taught us that stealing is a big no no.

7. "Quints"

I guess when your mom has five babies at once I’d miss being an only child, too.

8. "The Color of Friendship"

This is one of my favorites. It truly shows that you should never judge people and no matter what you look like or where you come from everyone is the same.

9. "Pixel Perfect"

What a tear jerker. Other than having an awesome soundtrack, "Pixel Perfect" taught us what love was really about.

10. "Stuck in the Suburbs"

I guess tormenting a celebrity is the way to go. I really envied their adventure. Hopefully I bump into Sam Smith sometime soon.

11. "The Cheetah Girls"

This girl group will live on forever, at least in my heart. Every girl wanted to be a Cheetah Girl. Also, if you claim to not know every word to “Girl Power” you’re lying.

12. "Seventeen Again"

Sometimes making potions in your house isn’t a good idea. Nonetheless, this movie showed us about the power of true love.

13. "Read it and Weep"

Sometimes the things you want to keep private don’t always stay that way.

14. "Smart House"

Who thought that owning a house with a mind of its own would ever end well? It seemed really cool at first, but after watching the whole film I had a very different opinion on that.

15." Luck of the Irish"

This movie makes Irish people seem crazy, but I swear we’re really not. It’s clearly just the leprechauns that go insane for gold.

If you haven’t seen a single one of these yet, break out the popcorn and wine and find out what you’ve been missing.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
