After living in Wilmington for over a year, I finally caved and watched "One Tree Hill," and let me say, I have no regrets. I just finished watching all nine seasons and my heart feels a little empty. "One Tree Hill" has some of the most memorable quotes that will take any fan back to a better time. Here are 15 quotes that will make you miss Tree Hill (just incase you needed a little OTH in your life):

1. Brooke Davis

"That's what I'm afraid of. Not being enough. Not good enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough."

2. Whitey Durham

"There's no shame in being afraid. Hell, we're all afraid. What you gotta do is figure out what you're afraid of because when you put a face on it, you can beat it. Better yet, you can use it.”

3. Julian Baker

"People say it gets better; well, people lie"

4. Lucas Scott

"When life comes rushing at you out of the darkness, who will you choose to face it with? Will it be someone you trust? Will they be wise? And will their love for you help them to guide you to the light, or will they lose their way in the darkness? Will they make noble choices? Or will that person be untested, someone new? Life comes rushing at you from out of the darkness. When it does, is there someone in your life you can count on – someone who will watch over you when you stumble and fall, and in that moment, give you the strength to face your fears alone?"

5. Karen's Cafe

"Somebody told me that this is the place that everything's better and everything's safe."

6. Clay Evans

"Sometimes I think that we waste our words and our moments, and we don't take the time to say what's in our hearts when we have the chance."

7. Marvin "Mouth" McFadden

"Because, sometimes, you have to step outside of the person you've been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are."

8. Peyton Sawyer

"At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, at war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls. And sometimes — all you need is one."

9. Dan Scott

"Forgiveness is never easy. Bitterness is easy. Hatred is easy. But forgiveness, that's a tough one. Sometimes, people say things they don't mean or do things they can't take back. Sometimes we do things we can't take back. So we feed ourselves to starve the pain."

10. Keith Scott

“Most people are stronger than they know. They just forget to believe in it sometimes.”

11. Jamie Scott

"Sometimes people have to cry out all their tears to make room for a heart full of smiles."

12. Haley James Scott

“I don't think you ever realize how much you love something until you have to give it up."

13. Nathan Scott

“It's the oldest story in the world. One day you're 17 and planning for someday, and then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today, and that someday is yesterday and this is your life.”

14. "One Tree Hill" Entire Cast

"Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is gonna come from, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner, and you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. So, make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now, believe in it with all you heart."

15. Haley James Scott

"There’s only one Tree Hill, Jamie Scott. And it’s your home"

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
