Now that December is here, it is officially Christmas music season. Certain radio stations will only play Christmas songs until after the 25th. Here are some of the most fun songs to jam to.

1. “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey

I think we can all agree that this is one of the most iconic songs out there, Christmas or otherwise.

2. “Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms

"Jingle Bell Rock" typically puts me in the Christmas spirit

3. “Christmas Eve Sarajevo” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra

This is essentially "Carol of the Bells" on drugs and makes for a masterpiece

4. “Rockin Around The Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee

Is it really Christmas if you don't hear this song on the radio at least a handful of times?

5. Anything by Michael Buble

He's more or less the king of Christmas music

6. “Please Come Home For Christmas” by Eagles

This is probably my favorite version of this song

7. “Last Christmas” by Wham!

This is definitely one of my all time favorites- RIP George Michael

8. “I'll Be Home for Christmas” by the Carpenters

9. “Mary Did you Know” by Pentatonix

10. “Everyday is Christmas” by Sia

11. “Candy Cane Lane” by Sia

12. “First Snow” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Trans-Siberian Orchestra knows how to make you feel music

13. “Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer”

Who doesn't love good old Rudolph?

14. “Frosty The Snowman”

And Frosty?

15. “Mr. Heatmiser/Mr. Snowmiser”

These songs just make me laugh

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
