The New Year is here and with that comes a whole new set of resolutions. If you haven't already written your resolutions for 2017, it's time to get on that. Many people delay writing resolutions because they don't think they will be able to keep them. It's best to keep your list short and specific to the things you know you are most important and you are capable of doing. Here is a list of resolutions that might help you get the ball rolling:
1. Instead of trying to lose weight, try to get in shape.
2. Try something new.
3. Give more compliments.
4. Put yourself first, at least once.
5. Drink more water. Most sources recommend around eight glasses a day.
6. Show someone you love them. Actions speak louder than words.
7. Spend a day alone in bed.
8. Read a book, for fun.
9. Travel to somewhere you have never been before, even if it’s a new town or neighborhood.
10. Put down your phone and start communicating the old-fashioned way: in person.
11. Make a new friend.
12. Say yes to everything for an entire day.
13. Stop apologizing for things that aren’t your fault.
14. Indulge once in a while.
15. Leave the past in the past.
