16 Must-See Movies For The Summer

Summer's almost here! That means more time to spend with family, more time to work, and maybe time to see a few movies. A lot of great films are set to be released this summer, and if you're a movie-buff like I am, then you're going to love what's in store!

1. Captain America: Civil War - May 6

For all you Marvel-lovers out there, here's another Captain America film the whole family will enjoy.

2. Neighbors 2 - May 13

In the sequel to Neighbors (which was released last year) Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are back at it again looking for a new house to live in (one that isn't neighboring a fraternity house). However, when they learn that the house they move into is next to a sorority house, they call in for reinforcements (Zac Efron, Dave Franco and the rest of their fraternity).

3. The Nice Guys - May 20

Based in the late 1970's, a private investigator and a hired enforcer investigate the disappearance of a girl and the death of a porn star.

4. X-Men: Apocolypse - May 27

5. Me Before You - June 3

Based on one of Nicholas Sparks' tear-jerking books, this is a great date night or chick flick. Just watching the trailer will give you the feels.

6. Central Intelligence - June 17

Kevin Hart and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson are back at it again in this hilarious comedy where two best friends reunite and work on a top-secret case.

7. Finding Dory - June 17

If you haven't seen Finding Nemo, then you definitely need to see it before Finding Dory comes out in theaters. With the voice of Ellen DeGeneres as Dory, Nemo and Marlan get to go on a journey to find their friend.

8. Independence Day 2 - June 24

9. The B.F.G. - July 1

Based off the book by Roald Dahl, The B.F.G. (Big Friendly Giant) is a wonderful story of an unlikely friendship between a young girl and a giant.

10. The Purge 3 - July 1

11. Tarzan - July 1

12. Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates - July 8

Two party-loving brothers (Zac Efron and Adam Devine) put out an ad online seeking dates for their sister's wedding. Two wild friends (Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza) answer the ad and are in for a real treat.

13. Star Trek 3/Star Trek 13 - July 8

Hey all you Trekkies out there, you're in for a treat! A sequel to the beloved series Star Trek starring Leonard Nimoy is set to release in theaters this July. Who's excited?

14. Ghostbusters - July 22

This comedy is a parody on the original Ghostbusters film, female edition. With SNL-alum Dan Aykroyd and hilarious actresses: Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Kristin Wiig, this is a great movie to see with your girl friends, sisters, moms, and anyone in for a good laugh!

15. Suicide Squad - August 5

This action-packed film focuses on the villains we all know and love being asked by the government to complete a top-secret mission. Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, and Cara Delevigne, this movie is great for comic and suspense lovers.

16. Sausage Party - August 12

If you haven't seen the trailer for this movie, I suggest you watch it right now. Sausage Party is an adult comedy with voices of Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, James Franco, Kristin Wiig and many others. This film got a lot of reaction, just from seeing the trailer! If you've seen it I'm sure you know why.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
